How to Add Domains and Start Monitoring

Adding Domains

1. Go to My Assets in the sidebar
2. Click "Add Domain"
3. Enter one or more domains (e.g., example.com or https://example.com)
4. Separate multiple domains with commas
5. If you enter a subdomain (like ftp.example.com), Malanta automatically includes the parent domain and scans all its subdomains

What Happens Next?

Once a domain is added, Malanta begins:

• Discovering all subdomains automatically
• Scanning for vulnerabilities and exposures
• Monitoring for changes and new threats
• Refreshing data periodically

Initial scans typically take a few minutes. Full exposure analysis may take longer depending on the number of assets. Results appear as they're found.

Asset Information

For each domain, you can see:

• Subdomain Count - How many subdomains were discovered
• Expiry Date - When the domain registration expires
• Registrar Name - The domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudflare)
• Scan Status - Complete, In Progress, or Failed
• First Seen - When Malanta first discovered this asset

Removing Domains

You can remove a domain from a scope to stop monitoring it within that scope.
