## How do I start monitoring my domains?


1. Go to **My Assets** in the sidebar
2. Click "Add Domain"
3. Enter your domain (e.g., `example.com`)
4. Malanta automatically discovers all subdomains and begins scanning


## How long does a scan take?


Initial scans typically take a few minutes. Full exposure analysis may take longer depending on asset count. You'll see a "Scanning in progress" indicator, and results appear as they're found.


## What happens after I add a domain?


Malanta continuously monitors your domains: discovers subdomains, scans for vulnerabilities, monitors for new threats, alerts you to imminent threats, and refreshes data periodically.


## I added a subdomain but it's not showing up?


When you add a subdomain like `ftp.example.com`, Malanta automatically adds the parent domain (`example.com`) and discovers all subdomains. Your specific subdomain will appear once the scan completes.
