# API Keys and Integrations

Malanta provides a REST API for integrating threat data into your existing security tools and workflows.


## Creating an API Key


1. Go to **Integrations** in the sidebar
2. Click "Create New API Key"
3. Enter a name and optional description
4. Click "Create Key"
5. **Important**: Copy the key immediately - you won't be able to view it again


## Managing API Keys


Each key shows its name, description, obfuscated key value, creation date, and last used date. You can delete keys you no longer need.


## Integration Use Cases


* Ingest threat data into your **SIEM** (Security Information and Event Management)
* Trigger alerts in your **incident response** workflow
* Automate asset inventory updates
* Feed exposure data into your **vulnerability management** platform
* Build custom dashboards and reports
* Connect to **STIX/TAXII feeds** for standardized threat intelligence sharing


## User Management


Administrators can:
* Invite new team members to the organization
* View member status (Accepted, Pending, Revoked, Expired)
* Manage permissions


User management requires admin permissions.
