API Keys and Integrations

Category: Features & Tools

Malanta provides a REST API for integrating threat data into your existing security tools and workflows.

Creating an API Key

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar
  2. Click "Create New API Key"
  3. Enter a name and optional description
  4. Click "Create Key"
  5. Important: Copy the key immediately - you won't be able to view it again

Managing API Keys

Each key shows its name, description, obfuscated key value, creation date, and last used date. You can delete keys you no longer need.

Integration Use Cases

  • Ingest threat data into your SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
  • Trigger alerts in your incident response workflow
  • Automate asset inventory updates
  • Feed exposure data into your vulnerability management platform
  • Build custom dashboards and reports
  • Connect to STIX/TAXII feeds for standardized threat intelligence sharing

User Management

Administrators can:

  • Invite new team members to the organization
  • View member status (Accepted, Pending, Revoked, Expired)
  • Manage permissions

User management requires admin permissions.
